I submitted SimplyTweet 3.2 a few days ago. It’s now pending review and approval now approved and available on the App store. The most important change is iOS 4 fast app switching which many people have been asking for and iPhone 4 retina display support. Here’s the detailed changes:

• Support for iOS 4 fast app switching
• Tweets and direct messages are now sent in the background for 3GS/recent iPod touch running iOS 4 and iPhone 4. There is a setting to disable background sending.
• Support for iPhone 4 with hi-res icons
• Send DMs directly from system-wide Contacts app. You can now link Twitter accounts to your system-wide address book. Besides adding information to the address book, you can now tap on the “Twitter DM” field in a linked address book entry to start composing a direct message to that recipient.
• Added URL scheme to support sending direct messages
• bit.ly and j.mp can now be used without specifying a login and API key
• Add translation support for direct messages
• Improve accuracy when determining your location name while composing a tweet
• Music being played is now no longer paused/faded in, after playing a send/push sound
• Fix: several buttons (with labels) in toolbar that don’t obey theme
• Fix: removed many memory leaks
• Fix: list creation broken
• Fix: adding a member (following) to a list broken
• Fix: updating list details broken
• Fix: report spam broken
• Fix: HTML entities (such as the character <) was displayed as code (e.g >) in conversation view
• Fix: display of compose view for tweet and DM now have the proper height when the in-call (or tethering) status bar is shown
• Fix: keyboard breaks if change from portrait to landscape mode while adding an account
• Fix: crash when going to My Profile after switching accounts in timeline using the navigation bar shortcut
• Fix: when posting a photo with text containing URL, that URL is posted (twice) instead of the photo URL
• Fix: refreshing a timeline no longer scrolls off by a few tweets.
• Fix: crash if upgrading from 3.1.1 or earlier
• Fix: crash when saving DMs to draft if there is no recipient
• Fix: certain default settings do not match application when app is first installed
• Fix: While posting, if geo tag was enabled already, then turned off and on again, the spinner spins forever
